These Terms of Use govern your use of Cue the Music Man. By using the app or the cuethemusic.app website, you agree to these terms.

1. What Cue provides

Cue is a consumer app that helps you generate, remix, manage, and share playlists, and export them to Apple Music or, if you opt in and connect a Google account, YouTube Music. The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

2. Eligibility

You are responsible for using Cue only where it is lawful for you to do so. If you are under the age required to enter into binding agreements where you live, use Cue only with appropriate permission.

3. Apple Music, YouTube Music, and third-party services

Some features rely on Apple Music, Shazam, Firebase, Gemini-related services, and, only if you choose to connect and use YouTube export features, YouTube API Services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and availability.

If you opt in to YouTube export or other YouTube Music features, you agree that your use of those features is also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

4. AI-generated results

Cue uses AI to help generate playlist suggestions. Results may be imperfect, incomplete, or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use, share, or export generated playlists.

5. Optional improvement data

If you choose to enable the optional Help improve Cue setting, you authorize Cue to receive and use eligible prompts, generated playlists, and related limited metadata from that device to improve Cue, evaluate playlist quality, and test or tune future playlist-generation features. This setting is optional, off by default, and can be turned off later for future collection from that device.

Turning Help improve Cue off stops future collection from that device, but does not automatically require deletion of samples that were already submitted before you turned it off.

6. Your content

You retain responsibility for the prompts, edits, playlist titles, and other content you create or share using Cue. You agree not to use Cue to violate the rights of others or applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with Cue, its share infrastructure, or connected services. You also agree not to use Cue in a way that attempts to bypass usage limits or security protections.

8. Availability and changes

Features may change over time. Parts of Cue may be modified, suspended, or discontinued without notice.

9. No warranties

Cue is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cue the Music Man and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, playlists, business, or goodwill arising from your use of the app or website.

11. Termination

Use of Cue may be limited or terminated if needed to protect the app, users, or related services from abuse or misuse.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated over time. If they change materially, the updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
